Standard Shuttle Probe
We also offer a more affordable alternative for customers that need dual lanes on a seasonal basis but otherwise do not have the budget for the Shuttle II.
The Dual Lane Shuttle Probe lasts for 30 years at country elevators where is it used heavily during harvest and then tapering off the rest of the year. The key on both probes is to grease it before and after harvest and perhaps one or two times between harvests.
The boom telescopes out of 4 feet, it rotates 270 degrees, the mast is 12 feet tall with a 1 ½ hp. You should be able to take two samples out of a truck in 45 to 60 seconds.
The bearing for the mast is not replaceable but the mast support bearing is a large greased journal bearing.
The Dual Lane Shuttle Probe is slightly less expensive to install and operate since it requires a 20 amp 208/240VAC single-phase circuit instead of the 30 amps required for the Shuttle II.
